The site is located in approximately 1.3 miles from the main intersection known as Transpeninsular/ Northern Highway 1 connection, with a total area of 43,610 square meters. It is roughly 400 meters to the east of the new Costco store. This section of the municipality, due to the extensive display of natural attractions and the high potential for attracting an increasing flow of visitors, has been defined as a priority region for the development of tourism activities since the mid-1990's.
